-
Technical Content: Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL
-
Classification: Chemical Herbicide
-
Toxicity: Yellow Label
-
Mode of Entry: Contact
Mode of Action
JU Weedout works through a rapid contact mechanism. Upon application, the herbicide is absorbed by the plant foliage. In the presence of light, it triggers the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which cause immediate cellular damage. This results in the rapid desiccation of all green plant parts within 48 hours. Because it is a contact herbicide, it remains safe for mature, brown bark and woody stems of trees.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Rapid Results: Highly effective; controls weeds within 48 hours of application.
-
Non-Selective Power: Effectively eliminates a broad spectrum of grasses and broad-leaved weeds.

-
Versatile Application: Ideal for inter-row weed management and pre-plant field preparation.
