JU Burnout is a high-performance, selective, systemic herbicide engineered for effective post-emergent weed management in cereal and grass-based crops. By mimicking plant auxins, it disrupts the hormonal balance of targeted weeds, leading to uncontrolled cell division, structural distortion, and eventual death. JU Burnout is a versatile, low-volatility solution capable of managing even the toughest broadleaf and sedge weeds, including aquatic infestations.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Total Systemic Coverage: Rapidly penetrates weed foliage and translocates from the tips to the roots, ensuring a complete kill.
-
Highly Selective: Effectively eliminates invasive broadleaf weeds and sedges while keeping your registered crops (Wheat, Maize, Sorghum, Sugarcane) safe.
-
Tough Weed Management: Easily controls resilient species like Cyperus rotundus (Nutsedge).
-
Versatile Application: Suitable for field crops, non-crop areas, and the management of broadleaf aquatic weeds in irrigation channels.
-
Long-Lasting Performance: Provides prolonged protection with a single, well-timed application.

Best Application Practices
-
Application Timing: Spray during early morning or late evening when weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage and actively growing.
-
Moisture: Ensure adequate soil moisture at the time of spraying to facilitate root-system translocation.
-
Equipment: Use a flat fan nozzle fitted with a spray hood to prevent drift onto non-target crops.
-
Cleaning: Thoroughly wash your sprayer with a Urea solution after use. Residual traces of JU Burnout can damage sensitive broadleaf crops in subsequent sprays.
-
Restrictions: Do not spray during windy or foggy conditions, or if rain is expected within 4 hours.
Safety & Storage
-
Protective Gear: Always wear gloves, goggles, face masks, and protective clothing.
-
Handling: Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes.
-
Re-Entry: Keep children, pets, and livestock out of the treated area for at least 12 hours.
-
Storage: Store in the original sealed container in a cool, dry place (below 35°C), away from sunlight, seeds, and food supplies.
